Being a Youth is such a wonderful thing according to Benjamin Disraeli “The Youth of a Nation are the trustees of posterity”
This article is written with the sole aim of showing the uniqueness of Youths, it is to open our eyes to the potentials and courage inherent in us as youths and to motivate us on why we need not capitalize on our weakness, neither should we limit our abilities but rather concentrate on our strength and enlarge our scope because we’ve got all we need to build the world of our dream
According to Mary Mcleod Bathune “We have a powerful Potential in our Youth and we must have the courage to change old ideas and practices so that we may direct their power towards good end”
As Youths of this great Nation Nigeria we must rise up to the occasion, we must stop the blame game, we must believe in ourselves and proof that we are worthy of trust, that we are matured to take up responsibilities, we must be responsible for our actions, weve got to stop playing to the gallery, we must see every responsibility that is assigned us as an opportunity to proof ourselves and earn the Trust.
It’s high time we consciously change the negative Stereotypes and channel our energy towards righting the wrongs.
Let’s make adequate use of our youthful age in the right perspective so that in our old age we will have comfort when we remember it and the accounts thereof.
We should live our Youthful life positively knowing that there is a fountain inherent in us, our mind, our talents, and our creativity. We are a bunch of positive possibilities untapped.
In the words of Marianne Williamson, as written for Nelson Mandela
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberate others”.
On a final note I urge us all to stay positive, put on the right attitude believe and know that you are brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous and a wonder to your World and the world is waiting for your manifestation rise up to the occasion and be among the Youth that will change the ordeals.
You, yes you reading can be our trail blazer!!!!!
